The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santino Seco in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vassilis Nentakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Luis Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Vasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Ponta. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 32nd minute of play. Inácio Ponta might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inácio Ponta ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inácio Ponta in the 35th minute. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 39th minute of play. S.E. Pindorama Eagles made a substitution. Ştefan Magheran replaced Luis Vasquez. In the 44th minute, Joshua Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The wind increased when Ştefan Magheran made the kick off in the second half. Pindorama Eagles's Juvenal Antunes was substituted for Inácio Ponta. 65 minutes into the game, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76thth minute of the game Ştefan Magheran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Pascual Carballar in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Gugu Netto. Ştefan Magheran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Magheran came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Gugu Netto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Garrido, made in the 84th minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ştefan Magheran's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Nentakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ştefan Magheran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ştefan Magheran went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
