Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yılmaz Veli started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Atilla Kağan Reşit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Atilla Kağan Reşit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yılmaz Veli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Balıkesirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Baki Laçin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Yılmaz Veli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yılmaz Veli went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 23rd match minute, Balıkesirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necaettin Selçuk to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play forced Balıkesirspor's goalkeeper Baki Laçin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas scored 2-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baki Laçin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yılmaz Veli got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yılmaz Veli in the 41st minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baki Laçin having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Balıkesirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Baki Laçin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vânderson Pitta in the 53rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yılmaz Veli, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yılmaz Veli in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Baki Laçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Atilla Kağan Reşit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yılmaz Veli scored 5-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yılmaz Veli kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Yılmaz Veli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yılmaz Veli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Yılmaz Veli's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yılmaz Veli helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Balıkesirspor got a freekick which was hit by Yılmaz Veli. After a rather tough play, Balıkesirspor's Brian May got a free kick in the 90th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Balıkesirspor had played much better football throughout.
