Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Baboszewo's Arkadiusz Jeziorkowski got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Zdzislaw Maziarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zdzislaw Maziarz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Baboszewo's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Maziarz came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zdzislaw Maziarz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Tafalla scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zdzislaw Maziarz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Maziarz having to interfere. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Maziarz made a huge save. 52 minutes into the match, Baboszewo's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Zdzislaw Maziarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ordered Arkadiusz Jeziorkowski off the ground. A collision led to Baboszewo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Teofil Sokol hit a great ball. In the 64th play minute Lautaro Mancebo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zdzislaw Maziarz. 1-4. Zdzislaw Maziarz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. A collision led to Baboszewo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Izydor Redisz hit a great ball. Zdzislaw Maziarz was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Joel Gaona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Gaona really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Zdzislaw Maziarz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zdzislaw Maziarz. Baboszewo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. After 84 minutes Baboszewo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 85th minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Luca Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zdzislaw Maziarz quite easily take care of the ball. Baboszewo's Zdzislaw Maziarz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Baboszewo from getting a goal against them. Zdzislaw Maziarz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. If Facundo Cadaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Baboszewo throughout the match.
