The audience thought a goal was coming when Frits van Gaal got free with Marco Day in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Frits van Gaal sent off a good shot on target. Vassilis Nentakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Vassilis Nentakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vassilis Nentakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Vasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 32nd minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frits van Gaal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Marco Day when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vassilis Nentakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 36th minute of the match. Vassilis Nentakis came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 41st minute, 吴正延 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vassilis Nentakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. Vassilis Nentakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Vassilis Nentakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 58th minute of the match. Vassilis Nentakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassius Byrne's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. S.E. Pindorama Eagles were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pasha Opara took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of USA's goalie and right to 洪岚然. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. USA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits van Gaal in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Vassilis Nentakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pindorama Eagles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pasha Opara in the 82nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Róbson Velasco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Marco Baker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vassilis Nentakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. USA played a much better game than S.E. Pindorama Eagles and deserved their victory. The S.E. Pindorama Eagles players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
