Tomas Snow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Snow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Snow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Laurentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tomas Snow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Teobaldo Ubarna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tomas Snow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Teobaldo Ubarna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Jakob Friberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Snow made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Teobaldo Ubarna took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Koit Einasto fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Renacer del Quijano FC's protests and gave Koit Einasto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Koit Einasto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Snow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With his leg Tomas Snow managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Tomas Snow skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peneios Protopsaltis was slow to take the kick. During this time El Renacer del Quijano FC's players had a chance to rest. Primitivo Andino thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Julio Vera, a very annoying self made goal in the 60th minute which led to 3-1. Tomas Snow made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 65th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Ubarna in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Tomas Snow in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Ubarna in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tomas Snow proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save El Renacer del Quijano FC from getting a goal against them. In the 87th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Teobaldo Ubarna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Laurentzi. With a little luck, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tomas Snow got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, El Renacer del Quijano FC could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
