Dawid Raschke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pol Land fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in aKolesie z Tatar..pyk pyk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Dawid Raschke had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ðuza Stopa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ðuza Stopa in the 55th minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, aKolesie z Tatar..pyk pyk's goalkeeper Dawid Raschke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Dykov came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. In the 70th minute, Jan Fleszar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Dawid Raschke made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Dykov in the 73rd minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Ferfecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pol Land in the 82nd minute of the match. Dawid Raschke made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Agustín Saelices charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustín Saelices the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of aKolesie z Tatar..pyk pyk booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dawid Raschke. Dawid Raschke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.
