Iwo Solarek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Glany proboszcza's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Iwo Solarek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrzej Modrzewski's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Glany proboszcza fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
