Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alex Cirigliano got the match started through his kick off. In the 10th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Red Sox's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. 12 minutes into the game, Alex Cirigliano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Alex Cirigliano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Mexico booed when Red Sox was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Zulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Fedele Hell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Lucantoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Cirigliano in the 19th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Lucantoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 21st minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Pan in the 25th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Francesco Festuccia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Lucantoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Lucantoni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex Cirigliano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Pan in the 39th minute of play. Fortunato Boldrini kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Lucantoni having to interfere. Alfredo Lucantoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Alfredo Lucantoni made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Red Sox's goalkeeper Alfredo Lucantoni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Gaona. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Pan in the 64th minute of play. After 68 minutes Red Sox's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredo Lucantoni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Alfredo Lucantoni made a huge save. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Red Sox's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Boldrini in the 76th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Festuccia, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 78th minute, Francesco Festuccia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Alfredo Lucantoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 83rd minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Pan in the 85th minute of play. Luca Zorita scored 2-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Lucantoni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
