Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Lyle Flanagan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 6th minute of play. Lyle Flanagan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lyle Flanagan. Lyle Flanagan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 18th minute F.C internazionale were awarded a corner. Okaner Necmi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Okaner Necmi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lyle Flanagan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, F.C internazionale's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Lyle Flanagan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C internazionale's Lyle Flanagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of play. Lyle Flanagan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Erkut Cenan made the kick off in the second half. In the 89th minute Bedir Serdengeçti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Peru's Milagros Fraga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lyle Flanagan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Lyle Flanagan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Gallo went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
