Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Berganza got the match started through his kick off. Kjell-Arne Åberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kjell-Arne Åberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azam Sum saved Moodys IF from getting behind. Brian May could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Panama's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Brian May 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Brian May sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Moodys IF's Marcos Cotilla threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kjell-Arne Åberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Moodys IF booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Mieszko Jaruzelski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Tidén in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute Johannes Tidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azam Sum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Andreas Carlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian May stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Moodys IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Åberg to maneuver through the defense. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the last second Azam Sum throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomas Berganza in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Tomas Berganza put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Azam Sum. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Moodys IF's Brian May. But to his dismay, Brian May quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Tidén in the 78th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Isidoro Sarmiento could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Azam Sum however easily saved by the left post. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azam Sum having to interfere.
