Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azam Sum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Camilo Franco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Moodys IF's Azam Sum. Azam Sum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moodys IF's Johannes Tidén got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kjell-Arne Åberg went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Azam Sum. Azam Sum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Moodys IF's Brian May. But to his dismay, Brian May quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Maximiliano Escribano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azam Sum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Jorge Sainz with Camilo Franco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Kjell-Arne Åberg sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian May stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Johannes Tidén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Azam Sum made a huge save. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Moodys IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azam Sum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Seco let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 68th minute shot 4-3 at rihgt post. Åke Johansson's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Johansson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Moodys IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Moodys IF's Azam Sum got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Åberg in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Azam Sum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. After 89 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Azam Sum was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Johannes Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uruguay's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
