If Brian May had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes in the game Milagros Cabal did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sebastian Villa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Tidén in the 11th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Brian May tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Tidén in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Johannes Tidén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Erik Pettersson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Pettersson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Moodys IF's Brian May sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreas Carlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Tidén took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 41st minute, Åke Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Moodys IF's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Azam Sum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Åke Johansson made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Brian May however managed to control. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Tidén in the 66th minute of play. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Brian May charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brian May the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Tidén in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Kjell-Arne Åberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kjell-Arne Åberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The supporters of Moodys IF booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moodys IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
