The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hacılar Erciyesspor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lv Bang Ao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Hacılar Erciyesspor got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Egil Gjerløw ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lv Bang Ao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of the match. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lv Bang Ao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lv Bang Ao. Hacılar Erciyesspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oğuzhan Kakisim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. A collision led to Hacılar Erciyesspor getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Damaso Beltxe hit a great ball. Lv Bang Ao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Zorita during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Hacılar Erciyesspor's Lv Bang Ao got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Gisbert made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Andino however managed to control. Saltuk Yağızalp kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Hacılar Erciyesspor's Haşmet Ekemen was substituted for Saltuk Yağızalp. After a rather tough play, Hacılar Erciyesspor's Saltuk Yağızalp got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
