Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edoardo Rinaldi made the kick off which started today's match. Dennis Berardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Valdieri's Edoardo Rinaldi. But to his dismay, Edoardo Rinaldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Aloisi in the 12th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Andreola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Dino Saurø made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edoardo Rinaldi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 24 minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Rinaldi in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Cara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edoardo Rinaldi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. A hard shot by Dennis Berardo from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Benito Sanz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 46th minute, Valdieri's Edoardo Rinaldi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Dennis Berardo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Edoardo Rinaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Dennis Berardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. Valdieri's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dennis Berardo in the 63rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Dennis Berardo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 69 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alberto Andreola. Eliseo Noboa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-1. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Rinaldi came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Rinaldi in the 79th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Alexander Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Valdieri players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Berardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Alfonso Aloisi took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. In the 94th minute, Anfilogino Di Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match Axel Tasis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Andreola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valdieri's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
