Jedrzej Indyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bon Scott in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Prats hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jedrzej Indyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 played minutes FC Cavia Pyskowice got a freekick which was hit by Ilari Eklund. The audience held their breath when Luz Tejedor in the 37th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia's left hand side. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Bon Scott got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, FC Cavia Pyskowice's Ilari Eklund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ilari Eklund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Cavia Pyskowice protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ilari Eklund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Peru booed when FC Cavia Pyskowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilari Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Berganza in the 50th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

55 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Luz Tejedor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia. That made the score 0-2 in the 76 minute of play. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Edward Jaraczewski was substituted for Tolek Turak. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslaw Miazga in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 91st minute, Buğrahan Altınpınar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Gallo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 99th minute of play forced FC Cavia Pyskowice's goalkeeper Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
