Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Altay Bayındır prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play forced SARI ZEYBEK's goalkeeper Altay Bayındır to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Oğuz Çetin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Altay Bayındır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Son Adam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Son Adam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Altay Bayındır. SARI ZEYBEK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Son Adam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play forced SARI ZEYBEK's goalkeeper Altay Bayındır to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Oğuz Çetin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the game, Antonio Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SARI ZEYBEK the free kick. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Abraham Moon notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Son Adam made a kick off. In the 54th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altay Bayındır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Altay Bayındır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Son Adam in the 56th minute of play. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Altay Bayındır when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 60 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Moon who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in İstemihan Ergüleç almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Son Adam, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Altay Bayındır to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Son Adam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Altay Bayındır. Altay Bayındır yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. SARI ZEYBEK made a substitution. Rahman Yekta replaced Haydar Özbilir. SARI ZEYBEK's Baybora Yaren was substituted for Son Adam. In the 85th match minute, SARI ZEYBEK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Moriggi to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Oğuz Çetin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute SARI ZEYBEK were awarded a corner. Abraham Moon went to the cornerflag to take it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
