Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Carmona, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With an all-out effort, Sporting Burgas's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Javier Carmona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute of the game Damian Udrescu made a throw-in which Ke Xiong Chen played forward. In the 17th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Sporting Burgas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Álvaro Perpiñán quite easily take care of the ball. Ke Xiong Chen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Ke Xiong Chen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Antonio Fioriti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Fioriti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Antonio Fioriti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. Damian Udrescu made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joel Ferrer. In the 42nd minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Javier Carmona fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Antonio Fioriti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Antonio Fioriti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Fioriti to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Fioriti came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sporting Burgas getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Miroslaw Piglowski hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Fioriti in the 57th minute of play. If Javier Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Antonio Fioriti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Fioriti in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Antonio Fioriti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Fioriti took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.
