That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Cremonese came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Gemar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jucunditas's goalkeeper Bruno Gemar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jucunditas's Bruno Gemar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. After 36 played minutes, Jucunditas's Thomas Bergfelt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jucunditas reached it. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enzo Minicucci showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. When Enzo Minicucci came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Jucunditas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Minicucci couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Thomas Bergfelt from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davide Cremonese in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Davide Cremonese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Enzo Minicucci scored 4-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Frank Pasin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Davide Cremonese notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emiliano Del Prete kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Jucunditas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Raimondi to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Emiliano Del Prete in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. 73 minutes into the match, Jucunditas's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Bruno Gemar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Gemar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 76th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Bruno Gemar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joshua Secada charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 85th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Gemar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Jucunditas booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Frank Pasin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Frank Pasin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Del Prete got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Carter Di Fazio.
