Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jonas Armendariz made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Matvey Izvolskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Scales saved Borussia Dortmund from getting behind. After 15 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Marcos Cotilla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Shannon Slater. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norberto Scales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Scales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vaughn Cortes's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vaughn Cortes helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Vaughn Cortes. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Norberto Scales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Armendariz in the 32nd minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Pawel Witwicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Scales having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Scales. Borussia Dortmund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Scales. Norberto Scales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Jonas Armendariz took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Norberto Scales stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Berganza came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 61 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Miguel Miralles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Scales came out of the goal and Miguel Miralles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Scales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Norberto Scales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Panama's Felipe Ros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felipe Ros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Panama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felipe Ros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 77th minute. Borussia Dortmund's Shannon Slater got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norberto Scales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Alex Cambeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Scales. Borussia Dortmund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Cambeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Tomas Berganza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Tomas Berganza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Norberto Scales had great luck who in the 88thth minute grab hold of the ball when Tomas Berganza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Borussia Dortmund's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Miguel Miralles scored to the left of an out of position Norberto Scales, making the score, 2-6. Panama's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
