Dino Foni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Graziano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
