The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mahir Sanak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Genco Pakel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genco Pakel in the 13th minute of the match. Fenerbahçe51's Clemente Anaya was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçe51 defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mahir Sanak. The Fenerbahçe51 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mahir Sanak should have stopped the shot. Mahir Sanak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Oneț, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Zekeriya Tuğrul thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Mahir Sanak, a very annoying self made goal in the 36th minute which led to 0-3. After 40th play minutes Lautaro Mancebo shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Mahir Sanak and just under the crossbar into goal. The Fenerbahçe51 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Oneț was the one to do the kick off. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Anaya in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Facundo Cadaval was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahir Sanak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mahir Sanak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Oneț in the 74th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Facundo Cadaval slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mahir Sanak. That made the score 0-8 after 84 minutes of play. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahir Sanak having to interfere. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahçe51's Edgar Oneț. But to his dismay, Edgar Oneț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. After having played for 92 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mahir Sanak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Facundo Cadaval showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fenerbahçe51.
