In the 19thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Husvagnens FF's Diego Caracciolo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During this time Husvagnens FF's players had a chance to rest. 31 minutes in the game Håkan Jansson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Thomas Lundström. After a rather tough play, Husvagnens FF's Robin Vallin got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Boris Bock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Kjell Pihl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Caracciolo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Håkan Jansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kjell Pihl came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Husvagnens FF fans jumped to their feet. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Navarro during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. When Kjell Pihl came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Husvagnens FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Pihl couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Husvagnens FF had won after a very even match.
