In the 6th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holer Nolan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, The Gonzez's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Holer Nolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave Mexico a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Gaona, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of The Gonzez's Holer Nolan. 0-2. Holer Nolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match The Gonzez got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robert Carlsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Holer Nolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 64 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Holer Nolan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Yi Jian in the 73rd minute of the match. Holer Nolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 78th minute of play. When Mexico's Facundo Cadaval in 83 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Holer Nolan guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 92nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holer Nolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Luca Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Holer Nolan. That made the score 2-5 after 96 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Gonzez.
