Batman:s Tayfur Kiner showed great skill when he stopped Edmundo Espiga:s penalty. 14 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tayfur Kiner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Honduras booed when Batman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Binali Kutbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Necati Eslem during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Batıhan Oncel fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batman's protests and gave Batıhan Oncel a yellow card for diving instead. 21 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tayfur Kiner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Görkem İlsev made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Binali Kutbay immediately put the ball in play. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bahadır Memduh in the 30 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Batman's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayfur Kiner came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 minutes of play, Batman's Binali Kutbay made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 39 played minutes Batman got a freekick which was hit by Doğa İlbaşı. Sabri Ekabir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Güneri Şems hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batman's Tayfur Kiner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Necati Eslem was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tayfur Kiner was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Tayfur Kiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 79th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Görkem İlsev in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. In the 83rd minute, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tayfur Kiner. Tayfur Kiner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 87th minute, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Edmundo Espiga did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Tayfur Kiner 90 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batman the free kick. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Binali Kutbay during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Batman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binali Kutbay to maneuver through the defense. The Batman fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
