Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Armindo Maltez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Boaventura in the 5th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Boaventura in the 5th minute of play. Armindo Maltez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Armindo Maltez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Maltez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Armindo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Maltez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Maltez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 38th minute of play. Armindo Maltez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armindo Maltez. Ponte do Carro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Armindo Maltez came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Gaona slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 57th minute. Armindo Maltez made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcino Jesus in the 65th minute of play. Armindo Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Boaventura in the 68th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Ponte do Carro were awarded a corner. Luís Falcão went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luís Falcão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gil Vilhena made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Simão Boaventura immediately put the ball in play. In the 76th minute Simão Boaventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Livas in the 80th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Boaventura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Maltez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 85 minute of play. Ponte do Carro's Palmiro Leite was substituted for Alcino Jesus. Ponte do Carro's Ricardo Peixoto was substituted for Gregório Jesus. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
