Kuleli Askeri Lisesi's Veysel Sanat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Kuleli Askeri Lisesi getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Juliusz Falk hit a great ball. Veysel Sanat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yılmaz Vurgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Cemalettin Yetişen could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Joaquin Gayoso however easily saved by the left post. In the 46th minute of the match Kuleli Askeri Lisesi got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juliusz Falk ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Kuleli Askeri Lisesi's corner Vaklin Dragomirov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. After 47 played minutes Kuleli Askeri Lisesi got a freekick which was hit by Natko Hohnjec.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jorge Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Kuleli Askeri Lisesi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natko Hohnjec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yılmaz Vurgun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cemalettin Yetişen in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beldad. When Yılmaz Vurgun came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Kuleli Askeri Lisesi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yılmaz Vurgun couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the game, Tuğrul Civanmert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Kuleli Askeri Lisesi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fikri Çetin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Veysel Sanat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The corner led Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Veysel Sanat despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Uruguay players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kuleli Askeri Lisesi from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
