The throw-in from Kilian Mbappè in the 2nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezary Kaczeniak having to interfere. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezary Kaczeniak having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play forced Edwardów's goalkeeper Cezary Kaczeniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Malinowski in the 13th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Piotr Malinowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Kilian Mbappè threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Malinowski in the 18th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak. Cezary Kaczeniak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Stanislaw Koczara sent off a good shot on target. After 27 minutes Edwardów's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Alonso Berganza put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cezary Kaczeniak. The supporters of Edwardów booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luz Tejedor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Piotr Malinowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edwardów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cezary Kaczeniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Cezary Kaczeniak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stanislaw Koczara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Cezary Kaczeniak made a huge save. 53 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cezary Kaczeniak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 63rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Kaczeniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Edwardów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kilian Mbappè didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Kaczeniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonso Berganza hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Cezary Kaczeniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 72nd minute. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kilian Mbappè, made in the 74th minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. A sloppy throw-in by Kilian Mbappè in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Cezary Kaczeniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 80th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Rafael Gallo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cezary Kaczeniak having to make a save. Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Edwardów from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute Lukasz Makomaski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rafael Gallo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Gallo couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Kaczeniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezary Kaczeniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
