Charlie Boström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes of play, A.A. Francana's Roman Koenig made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elliott Bergsten came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. In the 42nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Renan Melo quite easily take care of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlie Boström was the one to do the kick off. In the last second Renan Melo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Luis Andino in the 51stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 58th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elliott Bergsten scored 2-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A.A. Francana's Renan Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save A.A. Francana from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Elliott Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Charlie Boström who took care of the corner kick. Bernardo Bettencourt was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Renan Melo made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Renan Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elliott Bergsten in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renan Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Elliott Bergsten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. A.A. Francana were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
