Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Jose Van Eyken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Van Eyken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristen Spoelberghe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 11th minute of play forced KFC Welden's goalkeeper Gillis Degens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 16th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gillis Degens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Gillis Degens. KFC Welden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Anthony Alvarado hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raf De Weijngaert. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Vincent Dejonghe made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jose Van Eyken however managed to control. The supporters of Peru booed when KFC Welden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Van Eyken didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Kristen Spoelberghe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Van Eyken in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute of the game Vincent Dejonghe made a throw-in which Frederik Van Beringhen played forward. Gillis Degens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, KFC Welden's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Gillis Degens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wouter Gijselinckx was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of KFC Welden booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Raf De Weijngaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristen Spoelberghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luz Tejedor hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by KFC Welden's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KFC Welden made a substitution. Henri-Xavier Van den Dries replaced Wouter Gijselinckx. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Van Eyken in the 77th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Frederik Van Beringhen, made in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gillis Degens. Gillis Degens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. 91 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Gillis Degens. In the 93rd minute Henri-Xavier Van den Dries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The KFC Welden supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
