After a defensive mix-up in SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's zone, Börje Ivarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Frinnaryd's Benigno Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatin Ibrahimović in the 54th minute of play. Artur Bînciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Ivarsson in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Ivarsson came free, but Artur Bînciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi fully deserved thier win.
