Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Artūrs Sagalats kicked off to start the match. Artūrs Sagalats could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jānis Lielais. Jānis Lielais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jānis Lielais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reinholds Jaunzems was slow to take the kick. During this time SK Annenieki's players had a chance to rest. SK Annenieki were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reinholds Jaunzems took the corner. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute of the match SK Annenieki got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reinholds Jaunzems ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on SK Annenieki's corner Reinholds Jaunzems fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Jāzeps Pics could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. SK Annenieki were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reinholds Jaunzems took the corner. SK Annenieki's Reinholds Jaunzems was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jānis Lielais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jānis Lielais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 36th minute Indris Tomass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Annenieki's Indris Tomass. But to his dismay, Indris Tomass quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artūrs Sagalats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artūrs Sagalats in the 41st minute of play. Jāzeps Pics in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Artūrs Sagalats in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jānis Lielais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artūrs Sagalats in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artūrs Sagalats in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jānis Lielais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Jānis Lielais when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Reinholds Jaunzems came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artūrs Sagalats in the 80th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Vilis Lettlands. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Jānis Lielais to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jāzeps Pics in the 84th minute of play. Luis Andinos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Jānis Lielais to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jānis Lielais. Jānis Lielais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.
