Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Fierce's Clovis Lenoble started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute, Gaston Le Flem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Gaston Le Flem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Le Flem in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Fierce's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Fabrice Lepetit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Fierce's Gaston Le Flem pulled a muscle in his back after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 40 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fierce the free kick. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Fierce getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alexandre Bertholet hit a great ball. Fabrice Lepetit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

54 minutes into the match, Fierce's Clovis Lenoble sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirolyub Matanov in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fierce's Alexandre Bertholet got a free kick in the 57th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirolyub Matanov in the 62nd minute of the match. Faustin Compagnon hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Alexandre Bertholet kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Clovis Lenoble who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fierce the free kick. After 73 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. If Mirolyub Matanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Fierce made a substitution. Charlie Salvan replaced Guillaume Lacourt. The supporters of Fierce booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Andrea Bocelli came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Fierce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrea Bocelli couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fierce's Lucas Simão. But to his dismay, Lucas Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Andrea Bocelli struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fierce. A hard shot 94 in the game by Axel Tasis from a close distance when the talented Fabrice Lepetit managed to make a qualified save. Fierce's players were relieved.
