The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 唐雄挺 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 方宁梁 in the 70th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
