A wasted opportunity for Spa. 13 minutes into the match, Alberto Gisbert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zhao Ping Hui. Spa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Gisbert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Joaquin Gayoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albert Zapatero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 18 minute of play. Spa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Oliverios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommi Lundell in the 53rd minute of the match. Paulo Oliverios scored 3-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ryan Fokkens in the 56 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 60th minute of play forced Spa's goalkeeper Zhao Ping Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Oliverios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Zapatero in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Spa's Zhao Ping Hui tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zhao Ping Hui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 74th minute. In the 79th match minute, Spa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudewijn Been to maneuver through the defense.
