Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Natalio Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 4th minute of play. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, Maciej Matela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Adam Chazon quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Raphael Moore, made in the 10th minute of the game. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natalio Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Hugon Brzakala dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Day, 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Natalio Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gocław Wilga Warszawa made a substitution. Wincenty Walczak replaced Maciej Matela. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Natalio Peter in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Adam Chazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dong Yuan Feng in the 98th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Gocław Wilga Warszawa were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
