Erik Hegg hit a great ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when PrimeTimeBoys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jēkabs Eizentāls didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torsten Melberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Melberg having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Hegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jēkabs Eizentāls hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. PrimeTimeBoys FC's Torsten Melberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. PrimeTimeBoys FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jēkabs Eizentāls in the 68th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Hegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, PrimeTimeBoys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Torsten Melberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
