In the 8th minute Koray Suer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a G . S A R A Y's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Kamil Babacan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Kamil Babacan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Kamil Babacan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a G . S A R A Y's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of G . S A R A Y booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Kamil Babacan made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 36th minute, Sebati Cebeci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. G . S A R A Y's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Rigoberto Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miromir Kociniewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamil Babacan's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Kamil Babacan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Koray Suer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Svante Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Svante Åberg went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Svante Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamil Babacan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Miromir Kociniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Åberg in the 73rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Kamil Babacan sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Svante Åberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamil Babacan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. G . S A R A Y's Rüknettin Tosunoğlu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. G . S A R A Y walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
