An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Balázs in the 10th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Grieve having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of play forced Grnd Juventus NNNL's goalkeeper Norman Grieve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gergely Balázs. In the 19thth minute of the game Rubén-Darío Insúa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Norman Grieve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Norman Grieve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Norman Grieve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norman Grieve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 33 played minutes Grnd Juventus NNNL got a freekick which was hit by Géza Kulcsár. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Grieve having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergely Balázs, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 44 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita.

Grnd Juventus NNNL made a substitution. Árpád Almási replaced Nilton Ferraz. Norman Grieve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Gergely Balázs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Norman Grieve made a huge save. In the 64th match minute, Grnd Juventus NNNL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bálint Solti to maneuver through the defense. Norman Grieve made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Norman Grieve didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 77th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grnd Juventus NNNL made a substitution. Ádám Soós replaced Gergely Balázs. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Ádám Soós put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. 82 minutes into the match, Grnd Juventus NNNL's goalkeeper Norman Grieve had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grnd Juventus NNNL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After having played for 95 minutes, Ádám Soós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grnd Juventus NNNL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ádám Soós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
