Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paavali Paatelainen having to make a save. Paavali Paatelainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Fabricio Quintan sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salomo Laukka in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Dorel Crivoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Dorel Crivoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Paavali Paatelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paavali Paatelainen saved Galand FC from getting behind. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teppo Kallioniemi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galand FC's Paavali Paatelainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 33rd minute of play. Fabricio Quintan came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. In the 42nd minute of the match Galand FC got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eemeli Myllylä ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Galand FC's Päiviö Koivunen got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Paavali Paatelainen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 51st minute. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Quintan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eemeli Myllylä made a great header on Galand FC's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. When Eemeli Myllylä fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galand FC's protests and gave Eemeli Myllylä a yellow card for diving instead. Eemeli Myllylä kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Galand FC's Paavali Paatelainen got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Galand FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paavali Paatelainen quite easily take care of the ball. Paavali Paatelainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Paavali Paatelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 87th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Galand FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Paavali Paatelainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Galand FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
