Milyo Gelovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Milyo Gelovski having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, FC Zhelezna's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Milyo Gelovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilberto Garaile kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. In the 19th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Milyo Gelovski. FC Zhelezna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 22 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Milyo Gelovski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Zhelezna the free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Luis Cazalla hit a great ball. Gilberto Garaile might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Garaile ran back to his position shaking his head. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Garaile in the 64th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Garaile's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Axel Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Axel Montenegro hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Milyo Gelovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. FC Zhelezna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gilberto Garaile scored 5-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colombia's attentive Luis Cazalla managed to snatch the ball when Niko Kranjčar made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. Antonio Indiano hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Garaile in the 87th minute of the match. FC Zhelezna's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
