With an all-out effort, Laion Social Club's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carolo Marigorta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Arthur Schopenhauer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laion Social Club's Bazkoare Respaldiza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bazkoare Respaldiza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Marigorta in the 44th minute. Samuel Navarro lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Colombia! Bazkoare Respaldiza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arthur Schopenhauer was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Schopenhauer in the 53rd minute of play. Abram Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bazkoare Respaldiza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 64th minute Carolo Marigorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 67th minute of play forced Laion Social Club's goalkeeper Bazkoare Respaldiza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Laion Social Club's Benvide Lebrija was substituted for Arthur Schopenhauer. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 69th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Laion Social Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Colombia's Luis Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Bazkoare Respaldiza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bazkoare Respaldiza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 77th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benvide Lebrija, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Laion Social Club's Melchor Etxatxu got a free kick in the 80th minute. Kevin Mastache took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bazkoare Respaldiza. Laion Social Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bazkoare Respaldiza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 82nd minute of play. Ignacio Mastache took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bazkoare Respaldiza. Bazkoare Respaldiza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kevin Mastache struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Bazkoare Respaldiza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. In the 88th of the match, Kevin Mastache tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Bazkoare Respaldiza got in the way and made a wonderful save. Bazkoare Respaldiza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 91st minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Laion Social Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxepare Holgado to maneuver through the defense.
