Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Christian Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Daniel Zorita sped through Marieholm's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Mårtensson. In the 10th minute Marieholm were awarded a corner. Sture Söderberg went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Sture Söderberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play forced Marieholm's goalkeeper Christian Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Christian Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Christer Haström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mårtensson having to interfere. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Björn Jespersson in the 32nd minute. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Charlie Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes Marieholm got a freekick which was hit by Sture Söderberg. Daniel Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Marieholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Björn Jespersson made the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christian Mårtensson came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 52nd minute. Christian Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of the match. Sture Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Mårtensson skillfully saved the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christian Mårtensson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christian Mårtensson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 68 played minutes Marieholm got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Hedström. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marieholm's goalkeeper Christian Mårtensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Jespersson in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Luis Andino scored 0-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Mårtensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 80th minute of the match. Christian Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Mårtensson firmly grabbed it by the left post.
