After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Vicens Espina managed to get in a good position for a shot. union española s.a.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vicens Espina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abram Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Enoch having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Malmgren in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. Stig Malmgren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 32nd playminute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig Malmgren made a kick off. In the 51st minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Enoch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. union española s.a.'s Stig Malmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Adelino Nordon with Vicens Espina as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 56th minute Stig Malmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Abram Secada reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enrique Enoch. The goal made the score 3-3. union española s.a. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Colombia to leave the ground with a draw.
