Ecuador's players were relieved. In the 6th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjeerd Zwaanswijk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dynamo Blitz's Tjeerd Zwaanswijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Luciano Lauaxeta charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Lauaxeta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luciano Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dynamo Blitz's Luciano Lauaxeta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Dynamo Blitz's Tjeerd Zwaanswijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. Camilo Gisbert made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Andino however managed to control. 28 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 31 minutes, Marinus Westerink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dynamo Blitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marinus Westerink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Victoriano Bertin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Tjeerd Zwaanswijk in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Dynamo Blitz's goalkeeper Tjeerd Zwaanswijk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marinus Westerink in the 63rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Marinus Westerink got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Dynamo Blitz's Luciano Lauaxeta in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The nice shot from Daniel Zorita in the 67thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Tjeerd Zwaanswijk had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Lauaxeta in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Elbert Smeekes charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elbert Smeekes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dynamo Blitz getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Elbert Smeekes hit a great ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Dynamo Blitz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Tjeerd Zwaanswijk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 76th minute, Luciano Lauaxeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Luis Andino sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Lauaxeta in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Marinus Westerink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Lauaxeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tjeerd Zwaanswijk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Bertin in the 94th minute of the match. The Ecuador players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Dynamo Blitz from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
