In the 11th minute Nerio Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Nerio Leal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Nerio Leal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, MI EQUIPO's Nerio Leal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Rosario Cabrera notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The supporters of MI EQUIPO booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Nerio Leal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Franco Verdeja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 29th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Nerio Leal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nerio Leal in the 39th minute of play. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in 41 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Franco Verdeja guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Franco Verdeja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Verdeja prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. If Nerio Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franco Verdeja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, MI EQUIPO's Rosario Cabrera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 黄竞枫 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nerio Leal in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosario Cabrera might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rosario Cabrera ran back to his position shaking his head. After 91 minutes of play, MI EQUIPO's Nerio Leal made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Franco Verdeja in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MI EQUIPO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
