Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that MI EQUIPO's Franco Verdeja managed to reach the ball for a save. Franco Verdeja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. Franco Verdeja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, MI EQUIPO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nerio Leal to maneuver through the defense. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rosario Cabrera made a kick off. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Franco Verdeja to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 54 minutes into the match, MI EQUIPO's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Franco Verdeja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, MI EQUIPO's Policarpio Palomares got a free kick in the 56th minute. Franco Verdeja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franco Verdeja. That made the score 1-1 in the 63 minute of play. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to MI EQUIPO getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Olivar Coya hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Verdeja having to interfere. In the 77th minute Gaskon Galego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rosario Cabrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Franco Verdeja in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Verdeja having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind MI EQUIPO's goalkeeper Franco Verdeja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
