Cipriano França hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Breckenfeld in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Nueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 27 minutes, Abel de Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reko-Recko 03™ and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote threw the ball into play from the sideline. Reko-Recko 03™'s Abel de Almeida quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Trigo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Cipriano de Toledo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Trigo in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 58th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Reko-Recko 03™'s Carlos Augusto Sá managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Mariano in the 61 minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Patricio Costa made a precise shot to the right of Angelino Nueva. Reko-Recko 03™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 67th minute, Virgílio Trigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Reko-Recko 03™ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 75th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Trigo in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Angelino Nueva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Valverde in the 81st minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Reko-Recko 03™ made a substitution. Amílton do Valle replaced Carlos Augusto Sá. Reko-Recko 03™ made a substitution. Zé Augusto Moura replaced Cipriano de Toledo. Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Reko-Recko 03™ from getting a goal against them. Federico Valverde scored 4-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
