Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Macabeo Sampil shot from long distance in the 7th minute, but Jonathan Ferrant was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Policarpio Lama got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Policarpio Lama tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Macabeo Sampil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Rayo Bengala's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Rayo Bengala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. After 38 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julen Castellano in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Rayo Bengala booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julen Castellano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macabeo Sampil, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 54 minutes of play, Rayo Bengala's Julen Castellano made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute, Nerio Etxeberria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Macabeo Sampil came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Macabeo Sampil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rayo Bengala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 67th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macabeo Sampil in the 70th minute of play. Macabeo Sampil succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-2. After 74 minutes of play, Rayo Bengala's Policarpio Lama made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Macabeo Sampil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Rayo Bengala's Muntis Stiebriņsons was substituted for Macabeo Sampil. Julen Castellano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muntis Stiebriņsons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muntis Stiebriņsons in the 92nd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rayo Bengala had played much better football throughout.
