But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Vincent Prütz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jakob Breen saved Vångens AIS from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Vincent Prütz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jakob Breen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vångens AIS's Jakob Breen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 14th minute of play. When Edmundo Espiga, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jakob Breen was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 16th minute Vincent Prütz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakob Breen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jakob Breen was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vångens AIS's Jakob Breen. Jakob Breen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. During the 35th minute of the match Vincent Prütz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vincent Prütz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 37th match minute, Vångens AIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Hellgren to maneuver through the defense. Valentín Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilhelm Hellgren made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Vångens AIS's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakob Breen came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jakob Breen had great luck who in the 53rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Edmundo Espiga from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 56th minute of the game Amor Amore made a throw-in which Håkan Wall played forward. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Jakob Breen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Amor Amore with Wilhelm Hellgren as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sebastian Villa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jakob Breen made a huge save. In the 74th match minute, Vångens AIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Hellgren to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 75th minute of play forced Vångens AIS's goalkeeper Jakob Breen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Jakob Breen in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vångens AIS's Wilhelm Hellgren got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jakob Breen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vångens AIS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Moises Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Jakob Breen, making the score, 1-2. The Vångens AIS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Honduras's performance. The match ended with a win for Honduras.
