Cristian Sancho scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 姚昆文, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 姚昆文 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but 姚昆文 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute ЦСКА were awarded a corner. Vladislav Afanasev went to the cornerflag to take it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Without hesitation aimed to the right of 姚昆文, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 83 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 姚昆文. Felix Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The audience was convinced that Silvestr Kurshakov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goalkeeper 姚昆文 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestr Kurshakov in the 96th minute of play. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ЦСКА to leave the ground with a draw.
